Recycle soap bar slivers by tossing them into a pump bottle to keep beside your kitchen or bathroom sink. It doesn’t matter if the bottle is empty or has soap in it. Add water and shake or just let it sit for a few hours to produce new hand soap or extend your existing hand soap.
The plastic bags
Note: since the plastic baggies contained perishable products take care to re-use them immediately (don’t store them outside of the fridge) and toss them after re-using one time. You can however wash the hard plastic containers to re-use them more than once.
A shawl or scarf can easily be repurposed as a valance. Simply drape over a curtain rod and pin into place. This way when you’re ready to wear the shawl or scarf again it won’t be ruined. Continue reading
