Glue buckles to old picture or mirror frames to dress them up. Play with the buckles trying them in the center top and/or bottom, the corners, all around the frame or the top corner turned slightly askew.

Use an old belt to tie back tree branches or to secure young trees to supports.
Trim belt to fit the bottom of a computer monitor or other heavy office equipment for a non-scratch surface. Leave as is or glue to equipment.

Make sure to check all pieces given to children to play with for rough or sharp edges and do not give children anything that is small enough or of a shape that could be inserted into their mouths, ears, noses, etc. That said an old appliance can be a treasure chest for a crafter! Continue reading
