New Scarf from Old T-shirt

I’ve been craving a collection of those really long scarves but just can’t justify spending $20 or more for each one, so when I saw this article at Crafters Guru on how to turn an old T-shirt into a scarf, I was ecstatic!

I came up with a few ways to vary this scarf:
1. Instead of tying the scarf together, use iron-on webbing to attach the lengths of fabric together.
2. Skinny Scarves – after Step 2 cut each length of fabric in half length-wise so that you can make 2 scarves from the same t-shirt.
3. Super Skinny Scarves – after Step 2 cut each length of fabric in half length-wise and then in half again, so that you end up with four scarves from the same t-shirt.

About Kat

I started this blog to share with you all the results of years of turning trash into treasures. Hopefully I'll spark some new creative thoughts and if that happens I hope that you'll share your discoveries and together we’ll build a blog that will singlehandedly reduce global warming and save the world! Okay, maybe that’s a grand goal but we should be able to at least downsize our own trash output.
