Steel Wool Mouse Deterent

Mice can squeeze into your home through the smallest of holes. An easy way to keep them out is to fill all your nooks and crannies with steel wool. You might want to take the extra precaution of also filling small openings in the outside walls with steel wool.

While going through this process it’s inevitable that you’ll miss a hole here and there so I would suggest storing all food in your cupboards in recycled, reclosable plastic containers and/or coffee tins. And of course set out a few baited traps.

If you don’t have enough steel wool to plug up all your rodent entries, take a look at Amazon’s deals on “critter ridders”:

About Kat

I started this blog to share with you all the results of years of turning trash into treasures. Hopefully I'll spark some new creative thoughts and if that happens I hope that you'll share your discoveries and together we’ll build a blog that will singlehandedly reduce global warming and save the world! Okay, maybe that’s a grand goal but we should be able to at least downsize our own trash output.
